| Willie Welter was my friend from our days as Company mates in Company F2. A great athlete he was our backstroke leader, played on the Water Polo team and also was a great soccer and tennis player. Bill, Sherry, Chickie and myself dated together, were in each others wedding and stayed close throughout our service careers and after. Bill stepped in as a surrogate father to my 5 children when I was in Viet Nam. His contribution as our web master will never be forgotten. He will always be my Friend. My prayers go out to Sherry and the children and grandchildren. Willie Be Thou At Peace |
