| One of my earliest memories of arrival in B-2 in September 1951 was John coming up to each member of the new class, introducing himself and telling us that he was a "turnback" and would be available to help us with any rough spots. Over the next 4 years, John was always cheerful and helpful. I last saw John at a football game at Michie in the fall of 1967. He was still his happy, smiling self. That is the way I'll remember him. |
