Be Thou At Peace

Posted by John K Meeker III on March 10, 2011:

John Calley was my mentor. I recently turned 50 years old and I can think of no better man that helped to inspire me to be the best I could be. I met John while working at HUBCO in Union City NJ in the late 1980s, still trying to figure out what to do with my life. I was recently married, had an infant son and was attending night school. John Calley was a boy in a man's body. He had the great gift of gab BUT he knew his stuff and was never afraid to stand up to anyone and do the right thing. He was a man of tremendous integrity. He showed me the ropes in the investment world and we shared many laughs and several good meals together. He never wasted any food! I'm sorry this is so late as I moved to CA in 1999. My best to all of John's friends and family. He was truly a great man that helped me to have a better life. John Meeker
