| Met Jack Doyle at the Fort Belvoir Golf Club. A very nice man. Great sense of humor. He often met other West Point classmates and graduates there. One particular West Point graduate was Vincent Bailey, class of 1952. It was always fun to hear them describe the differences beyween the two classes. He often talked about his experiences at the Academy, moving from his home in Virginia to assisted living facility, his children, and how his current life was proceeding. I asked him one time what he would do differently if he were to repeat attendance at the Academy. He said, "I would study this time". No matter, he had a wonderful military career. |
