Jim and Doris lived next to Sandra and me in Lee Area, and Jim and I played tennis often on the court behind our quarters. (Most of the time he beat me handily.) I could say many things about Jim and Doris, but perhaps I can sum it up simply by saying I wish that the two of them and their children could have been our neighbors always. They are special in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers. May God bless Jim and his family, and may all of us take inspiration from him, a wonderful man, husband, father, teacher, soldier.
