Robert Blair Tinsman, 69, of Coopersburg, [PA] died April 14 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was married to Janice C. (Lauser) Tinsman for 13 years last August. A 1956 graduate of West Point Military Academy, he was a senior engineer for the former AT&T, Allentown, for 29 years before retiring in 1989. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Dr. J. Herbert and Ida (Walton) Tinsman. He was an Army veteran. Survivors: Wife; son, Robert B. of Abington, Montgomery County; daughter, Jeanne R. of Tuckerton, N.J.; stepdaughters, Tara McLaine of Northampton, Kali Hobel of Coopersburg, brother, Dr. James H. of Topton; sister, Nancy Rector of Huntingdon Valley, Montgomery County; three grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren. Services: private. No calling hours. Arrangements, J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, Allentown. Contributions: ALS Association, Greater Philadelphia Chapter, Ambler, Montgomery County.
