| Joe Dougherty was one of the nicest, most capable and well respected persons I have ever know. He encompassed all the virtues that I admire and respect. He took DUTY, HONOR, COUNTRY to a higher level. He was a wonderful husband to Shirley, whom we all adore. He was a fantastic father for his children and a grateful leader for his entire family. There are not enough words to express my admiration and love for the Dougherty family. I'm sure Joe has gone on to a better place in Heaven with our LORD, JESUS CHRIST, and we will remember him in our prayers frequently. Rest eternally in peace and happiness, Joe.
