Gus Johnson was one of a kind! Paula and I first met Gus and Ellen at West Point when we shared a laundry room with them in the Grey Ghost quarters. Gus was smart, funny and quick with the sly comeback. He was the sort of guy it was fun to be around. Gus could make you laugh, give you insight on most any situation, and educate you on the things you needed help with. I am happy that I had the chance to know him and call him my FRIEND. He will be missed and remembered by all who were lucky enough to have known him. Grip hands and carry on... |
