Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Irene Cronin on November 12, 2022:

Colonel Glock was a truly good hearted man with a great sense of humor. I worked for him for many years and he and Mrs. Glock always treated my family like family, I will always be grateful for having had the opportunity to know him. When I would spent a month at a time with my daughter at the hospital (repeatedly) not only did he not fire me, as I wouldn't have been able to fault him for, but he paid me full salary. It was a kindness I'll never forget and still tell people about to this day. He and Mrs. Glock would invite us up to Fenwick Island in the summers and my children have wonderful memories of their time at the beach and Colonel taking them sailing. May he rest in peace.

Loving and merciful God, we entrust our brother/sister to your mercy.

You loved him greatly in this life; now that he/she is freed from all its cares, give him happiness and peace for ever.

The old order has passed away; welcome him now into paradise
where there will be no more sorrow,

No more weeping or pain, but only peace and joy with Jesus, your Son, and the Holy Spirit for ever and ever. Amen
