As a plebe and yearling in his Math classes in 65-66, I recall at least the subject if not the substance of his lessons. I posted this as a "Flower" on his Find-a-Grave Memorial, which can be found on www.findagrave.com by searching the Sante Fe National Cemetery in New Mexico: Valuable (if not Fond!) memories of your dreaded Math classes during my Plebe and Yearling years at West Point. If nothing else, I at least remember how painful deriving "Eigen" values/vectors was! May you forever enjoy the Mansions of the Lord in reward of a life well lived. - William H. Ward, USMA '69 |
