Be Thou At Peace

Posted by JAN E. "PETE" VERFURTH on May 24, 2014:

FEARLESS FRED WAS A VERY SPECIAL PERSON AND A TERRIFIC AIR FORCE PILOT. HE DID HIS BEST AT EVERYTHING AND CONSISTENTLY EXCELLED. HE IS BEST REMEMBERED FOR HIS SENSE OF HUMOR AND VERY OUTGOING, FRIENDLY PERSONALITY. FRED WAS ALWAYS FUN TO BE WITH AND WAS A FAMOUS MEMBER OF THE BIG FIVE, A SMALL GROUP OF AIR FORCE BUDDIES. WE CELEBRATED OUR GREAT LIVES TOGETHER EVERYDAY IN PILOT SCHOOL AND OUR GOOD FORTUNE FINDING OUR LIFETIME MATE WHILE LIVING IT UP IN TUCSON. FRED WAS IN GREAT DEMAND WITH THE LADIES RACING AROUND IN HIS SHINY NEW 1956 THUNDERBIRD. MARION WAS THE WINNER AND THE REST IS HISTORY!!!!!!!!

FRED IS DEARLY MISSED BY HIS MANY FRIENDS AND SOULMATES. I TOAST MY MARGARITA TO ONE OF THE VERY BEST FRIENDS I EVER HAD. HE WAS TRULY SPECIAL. WELL DONE FRED. SAVE A PLACE IN HEAVEN FOR US. PETE VERFURTH
