| I had the honor of serving In BG Arvid West's Brigade in Germany during the late 70's. BG West, then a Colonel was Commanding Officer of Second Brigade , 8th Infantry Division. I served as his Brigade HHC Commander. After my service under his leadership I stayed in touch with him throughout my Army Career and on into civilan life. I loved him dearly. I loved his Spouse Ms Barbara. I salute my old Commander and I will always miss him dearly. RIP SIR! |
