As one of my first roommates the first half of plebe year in B-1, Bob was a class act from the beginning, and he continually accelerated that role. When I was contemplating retirement from the Air Force, Bob called me to a breakfast meeting for a "personal business marketing 101" discussion to prepare me for job hunting. I later learned that he did the same for many classmates and others, occasionally offering office space and secretarial help for months at a time until the classmate got on his feet! In the 1970's Bob and Kay hosted an annual Christmas party for friends and classmates in the area. I believe that, a few years ago, it was Bob who proposed the winning class memorial project at USMA, now under construction. Bob truly loved his class and his classmates, we will dearly miss his smiling countenance!
