Dick Adams was one of my roommates during the first semester of our Plebe Year---a year and time that none of us will ever forget. One of the highlights of that time was knowing and living with Dick. He was our "voice of experience" and our never-failing guide. We also were privileged to be able to meet and to know Dick's brother who was assigned to Company H-2, our next door company in the Lost Fifties. Dick was an accomplished gymnast and---if memory serves me correctly---was the national champion on the side-horse our Firstie Year. We will miss him greatly!
