| Sam and I were neighbors in Atlanta Georgia, where we attended Bass High School. He was always such a bright and innovative person. He attended Georgia Tech but seemed bored, so he decided to attend WP. His Father, an army colonel, probably assisted that decision. The summer before his graduation from WP, I took him flying in small airplane,which he thought was great. This prompted him to go to USAF flight training at Graham AFB, FL. I paid my respects at his gravesite in 1999. |
