| Colonel Joe Gleason was, by far, the best boss I ever had. I served under him in Vietnam in the Big Red One and later at West Point. We were also CGSC classmates. I just recently learned of his death, and I only wish I had told him once more how much his friendship and leadership meant to me. Colonel Joe always gave the Army his best; always tackling the hardest jobs first, and never losing his infectious Irish sense of humor, no matter how tough the pressure. He was blessed with his wife Libby and a wonderful family. |
