Be Thou At Peace

Posted by LUCIANO CRISTOFORO SALAMONE on October 11, 2013:

FROM THE PREP SCHOOL TO WEST POINT, TED WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED FOR HIS FRIENDLY PERSONALITY, HIS JOKES WITH ALWAYS A SMILE AND HIS SPIRIT IN SPORTS. SPEAKING OF SPIRIT, I BELIEVE TED WENT FROM ONE CHURCH TO ANOTHER UNTIL HE WENT TO THE CADET CHAPEL FOR JEWISH SEVICES. HE TOLD ME HE LIKED THE FRIENDLY SERVICES THERE AND FURTHERMORE, THEY HAD TRIPS OUTSIDE OF THE ACADEMY WHICH WE ALL FAVORED AS CADETS. I BELIEVE THAT IS HOW HE MET HIS LOVE, JUDY. TED, MARTY ZIMMERMAN AND I USED TO BOAST ABOUT OUR AGES IN COMPARISON WITH ALL OUR CLASSMATES SINCE WE WERE PERHAPS, AMONG THE VERY FEW, OLDEST CADETS IN THE CLASS OF 1956!!! OF COURSE, WE ALL MISS TED AND MAY HE REST IN PEACE!!!
