Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Joan Christy (Dayharsh) on February 14, 2012:

My Darling Ted,

Today is Valentine's Day -- my first without you in 37 years. You are in my heart, as always, but how I miss seeing your beautiful face, hearing your wonderful voice and feeling your loving touch.

You were such an exceptional man, My Darling, a true example of what a human being should be. The most honorable, loving, selfless man I have ever known, your kindness and generosity touched the lives of so many others. How blessed I am that God sent us to each other. How lucky I am to have found the man of my dreams, my soul mate, the love of my life, how honored that you chose me to share your life while you were here.

Nothing can ever replace the wonderful love we shared, or fill the void I feel without you.

Until we are together again, may God hold you safe in his arms, may you be comforted in your heavenly home by loved ones who are there with you, and may you be rewarded for a life well done. Be Thou at peace, My Love.

Your loving wife,

Joanie
