Be Thou At Peace
Posted by Ken Lang on September 27, 2004:
I didn't know Charlie very well at WP, and since he went Infantry, and I went AF, our paths never crossed. But all that changed one night online, when I received an email from him. He had just returned from his Christmas Holiday travels, and asked to be returned to our net (usma1956). I now share that email from Charlie, sent in the evening of 7 Jan 2004, which says so much about his warmth and generous spirit. On that night we Gripped Hands! Ken Lang, 20973 =============== Hello Ken, We're (the Prathers) are here in South Carolina and on line! What do you think we missed? We went to Washington,D.C a few weeks ago to visit the Leuders and attend the Sullivan's reunion for our class at the Army Navy Country Club then went to visit with John and Suzanne Wall and then retuned to the Carolinas for the usual Christmas parties followed by the family for Christmas Dinner, followed by celebration of Ann's and my 47th wedding anniversary, followed by a New Year's Eve party at our house for about 60 people. Next is my 72nd birthday party on 22 January. So, my good friend, we are here, alive and as well as can be,. Call, write, e-mail, or come and see us anytime. (I'll get you a place to sleep if you call in advance) Grip Hands, Charlie Prather
