Major Holleder: I was reading Sports Illustrated magazine today (November 22, 2010, issue) and saw a full page photo of you and your teammates. The caption described your illustrious football career and your untimely death. You were leading men in the photo; you were doing so when you were killed. I think you would be proud that you are remembered some 43 years after your death. However, given what I now know, suspect you are remembered each day. Be thou at peace, soldier. |
