EDGERTON T. CROUTER MONTGOMERY CENTER/NAPLES, Fla. - Edgerton T. Crouter, 78, of Naples, Fla., and formerly of Montgomery Center, died Jan. 11, 2011 at AVOW Hospice in Naples. He was born March 17, 1932 in Burlington, the son of Naomi T. and A.L.E. Crouter. He grew up in Oradel, N.J. He attended Lyndon Institute in Lyndonville, and graduated from the United States Military Aacademy at West Point in 1956. He proudly served in the United States Army until his retirement in 1979 as a Lt. Col. "Jerry" is survived by his wife, Margaret of Naples; his daughter, June Collins and her husband, Roger, of North Hero; his daughter, Lynne Koloski of Essex Junction; and a son, John of Winthrop, Mass. He is also survied by three grand- children. He was predeceased by his closest friends, Jake, Jake, 3, 4, and Jake. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to AVOW Hospice, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, FL 34105-3847.
