Well, Pops... I guess it is no surprise that I am the one posting something. It has been a few months but I wanted to ensure I did this justice. First, thank you! You were a great dad and raised us well. The motto of family, honor, duty was learned by us all and was indeed the way we have all raised our kids. I am sorry you made choices that resulted in you not being a part of that. I think we would have made you proud. Second, thank you for dedicating your life to serving your country. I know that you probably think this should have been first, but as your daughter and raised by you, family ALWAYS comes first. While I was young when you retired so never really understood what you did, I sincerely hope the contributions you made benefited those that followed. Lastly, on a completely personal note, I hope you are with Ann. Please teach her to fish, hunt, change a tire, dance, be a lady, and laugh... remember? U-unique up on it! And give her a hug for me. LYMY
