It was my honor to serve with John Lynn in Company M-1 for 3 years. He was a friend, a soldier, and a splendid example of what West Point is all about. I grieve his departure for the Long Gray Line. One day when we are reunited there, I hope he will not recall that I may have "squeezed his neck in" a time or two when he was a Plebe. Be thou at peace, John, for you are all that we strive to be. |
