Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Paul Helgerson on February 27, 2017:

Richard was my neighbor while we lived in the Whispering Pines addition of Winona. We lived next to each other and often met on the driveways of our homes and would visit and solve the world's problems. Richard was a very calm, considerate person. He was a positive person who would show great respect for people- even if he didn't agree with your point of view. Every so often Richard and Pat would ask me to come into their home to help fix their printer. After he left his home in Whispering Pines and moved to his new home he continued to maintain his positive view and appreciated how well he was being cared for. On occcasion I would take him to his doctor or dentist and he would maintain his good humor and positive outlook but one time he said he really missed his comfortable cadillac so he could get around. He would often talk about his grandson and how important AJ's visit would be.
