| What a good man, classmate and friend! Of the several examples of this that I could relate, the one that I recall best is the Christmas of Cow year when I did not have the resources to fly home. Barrie immediately invited me to spend the hoidays with his family in Buffalo. It was not just a nice gesture; it was just the way Barrie did things. They took me in and made me feel very comfortable. After graduation, we kept up with each other via Christmas cards but did not cross paths until 30 years later, and the meeting was like it had only been a short time apart. I'm sure that there are many similar stories out there about this great guy. |
