I will always remember Red very fondly for his humor,quick smile, aggressive spirit and talent on the football field. One of my favorite recollections of him is sitting at a table for a Sunday meal.....as a Plebe......Red and I were not always able to eat as much as we wanted because of conduct. There were pork chops that day and I remember stopping at 7ths.....can still remember Red politely asking for 8ths on pork chops.....and Patton let him have them. He was a very special person that no one forgets....he lives on in my fondest memories. OKHILL |
