Be Thou At Peace

| Fred was my roomate for one semester,and although our ways parted after graduation, nevertheless we were life-long friends. I will always remember his uncanny sense of humor, his steadfastness in friendship, his care and affirmation of others, and his utter transparency. I will miss him, but I know that this is not the end of his life. It is but the beginning, for out of his trust in our Creator, which he recently shared with me, is born the confident expectation that one day we will meet again on that glory lighted shore. Farewell, dear brother, 'til we meet again. |
