I met JJ during Beast Barracks of Plebe year and got to know him pretty well, since we were in the same cadet battalion and were in the Debate Council and Forum together. He was always fun to be around. Although we saw each other a couple of times after graduation, unfortunately, I did not have a chance to serve with him. I am deeply saddened by his passing.
