| I remember Tarey with respect and affection. When I first arrived as an instructor in the English Dept. in '71, he was my group leader. Throughout the year and thereafter, he always impressed me with his wisdom, sense of humor, and gentleness. Years later I returned to WP for another tour as a 'P' and he hosted me for an interview for a job while he was working in the Dean's office. Again, he was gracious and supportive. My life was better for having known him. He was a very caring man. May he rest in peace. |
