| Dick and I were classmates in the same platoon at the USMA Prep School in 1957-58. I'll always remember we were on a "detail" scrubbing the dayroom floor when his beloved Milwaukee Braves clinched the '57 world series. A ground ball to Eddie Mathews for the final out and he threw his scrub brush into the air. "Stinky was a man of principles and I'll always respect him for that. |
