Steve and I became good friends while both of us were stationed at Redstone Arsenal, AL in 1980. Steve and Sue opened their home to us on many occasions and our children played soccer and became close friends. Steve was an excellent golfer and gave Linda and me lessons accompanied by lots of laughter. Steve and Sue remained close friends after they moved to Sun City. He and Sue suffered through the tragic loss of their oldest daughter and the near loss of their youngest. Linda and I will miss Steve and his dry sense of humor an the way he always welcomed us into his home. May he RIP. |
