Be Thou At Peace

Posted by bruce K Heim on October 29, 2021:

George started with the class of '62 and ended up being turned back to '63.
George had tremendous insights into the human condition. He read people like a book and was seldom wrong in his judgements(He thought Cammy Lewis was gifted and he was!).
He was excused from Plebe boxing his second year by Punchy Creighton for fear he might hurt someone. It was his only 3.0 grade in five years. This competitive fierceness carried over to the football field where he was the hardest runner on our team.
He was affectionately called "Pooh"by his teammates as he was hirsute like a bear i.e.Winnie the Pooh. George shaved twice a day to avoid demerits!
George out kicked his coverage in marriage and spent spent his second marriage happily with Marsha to whom he was devoted.
God rest George's soul.
