Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Wayne White on March 7, 2011:

I also knew Capt. Mark Galton in Viet Nam in 1967. He commanded a small ASA "Radio Research" unit in support of the 196th LIB 4 mile south on Highway 1 in Chu Lai. Mark was a wonderful person when I got myself in trouble in Nam and the Marines wanted to court marshal me for getting into a fight Mark told me don't worry he would take care of it...he did and we became friends...I looked up to Mark and he even took time out to look me up in the states and met my wife. I was attempting to find him on the internet when I found that he past. Believe me he is not forgotten... and how many other lives has he touched...many!
