Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Linda Werk on January 10, 2022:

I didn't know James, but have been cleaning out my garage and came across a POW bracelet from the 60's that I wore during the Vietnam War. I was 18 at the time. The bracelet has Capt. J. Clifford McKittrick 6-18-67 on it. Not ever expecting to find him by Goggling his name, I was surprised when this eulogy appeared. I was saddened to hear that he never made it back from the war. Not sure if his family ever saw or received any of the POW bracelets, but if they are interested, I would be happy to see they get this one. I am 72 now and live in California. He sounded like a kind giving person. My brother also served in the war, but we were lucky that he returned. God Bless.
