Be Thou At Peace

Posted by David Baratto on August 21, 2009:

I have long felt a void with Moose's passing. He was always there as a friend, or a helping hand, no matter the cause or the situation. My most vivid and warmest memories of Moose are when he made the long trip across the USA to Mt. Shasta, CA to be my Best Man. Mt. Shasta was and (still is) a small little resort town of about 3,500 people. Moose arrived early in fine form and proceeded to set a new standard for Italian Wedding celebrations. Without going into great detail, let me say...he took his best man duties to heart, ensuring all would remember (if we could) the week-long event as a good time for all. To this day, there are some native residents that recall and recount the occasion and the "special acts" that Moose starred in. I am one of them; I miss him. Ruth does too. If you visit his grave-site please place a pebble on his tombstone for us as a sign that we visited too.
