Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Gina on August 4, 1999:

I know this might not have anything to do with the amry or anything, but my uncle Al was a great uncle! He taught me a lot of great things in my past. He was the smartest out of them all! Even though I did not get to see him that often, I still liked being around chatting with him on holidays and other gatherings when him and aunt Maria came up to New Jersey. I wanted to come and visit him when he wasn't doing so well, but I tried the best I could.

Before he passed away, I told Lisa to tell him that I love him very much, and that I will miss him dearly. And that I wish I could have been there to say it myself. I hope she told him before he passed so he could have cheered him up!

He would always cheer me up, he showed my brother and I how to do the 'Cribble Crabble'. 'Til this day, I still remember that day! He was the most caring uncle and friend I would ever have! We will all miss him but I will pray every night and talk to him. He is in our hearts and looking down on us. Especially Aunt Maria, Kenny, and Lisa. --Gina--
