Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Ted Rodosovich on August 22, 2005:

Circa 1990 Kevin Murphy said he ran into Norm - at an athletic club, I believe. Since I had known Norm fairly well during my tenure of 1960-62 - both jocks - and had not seen him since my departure in 1962 I was eager to see the lad. I made contact and he arranged lunch at the Sea Lodge at La Jolla Shores, CA. In fact, Norm lived in that quaint small village attached to La Jolla. His house was one of several he had owned in the San Diego area at the time. He was pursuing a PH D in Education at the old IU (International University) now re-named Alliant U. I helped him out with some of his stock market investments because at that time I was in the brokerage business. We got together several times after that including one lunch I set up with about six Woo Poo'ers. We lost touch when Norm (my understanding) got his PH D and went offshore to utilize it. I have no further info about him. I was saddened to hear of his death. I have always wondered what happened in his life journey after we lost contact? It would be nice to hear from any of his other friends or family ...? rodo

ps Norm was from Baltimore. Since I was drafted and signed by the Colts in 1965 (12th round out of Univ. of Cincy) and played the entire pre-season (almost made the team!!! darn!!!) Norm was always very interested in my numerous Colts' "war stories".
