I guess I am as shocked as anybody to read about Sleeter's death. I had a nice chat with him at the 40th - the first time I had been back since FB season 1963-64. Jack Price and others have been encouraging me to learn the means of access to the USMA web sites. This is the first time I scrolled thru the eulogy section. Of course, one wonders if Phil had a medical condition he brought with him to the 40th. Or, was it something that flared up acutely and took him from us? rodo |
