We lost one of our Warriors last night. Pete was truly a Warrior for the Army, a Warrior for our Nation's values, and a Warrior for God. Pete lived the life he preached as an example to all. I was fortunate to be assigned with him in combat and fight with him shoulder to shoulder on occasion. He was dependable when shoring up my flank or helping retrieve my fallen soldiers.
