I met Jack back in the late 90s when I was first getting involved with WP-ORG. We met in person one day when Jack and Sam dropped off a huge amount of networking gear that needed to be sold on Ebay. Jack was a great American and a great warrior. He did his nation proud in his service in Vietnam. What was most memorable about Jack was he was always the guy who had a devilish smirk on his face. You knew that behind those eyes was a devilishness that could not be conquered. He lit up the room with his antics and always left a smile on everyone he met.
