I was a good friend of Warren's in high school. He had a gift for rebellion, a gift for joy, and a gift for generousity, and he enriched my life. I haven't seen him since just after college, but often when I sing choral music, I think of him. I remember one gorgeous night at the beach in Shorewood, when we sneaked in after the park closed, built a bonfire, and harmonized for hours. I am sorry he's gone. |
