| Bruce and I first met early Plebe year--we had the same Plebe Pop--(then-CPT) Charles Wallis. Boy, going to a real house and "falling out" was great!! Bruce had this serious Southern accent, but you couldn't help but like him. We could EAT some fried chicken. We had such great fun playing with the Wallis'kids. In spite of appearing somewhat serious, Bruce laughed a lot, and we struck up a friendship over our Cadet years. We were lucky in that the Wallis's were there all of our years, so we had lots of quality time together. Bruce was a valued and trusted friend... |
