| Satch (Satch-mo) and I attended Highland Falls High School (Mountain Ave) - he was one grade ahead then. We lived next door at Lusk. Satch was popular with all schoolmates - post kids and townies. His folks, Seth and Duvall, were special and he had the best traits from both of them - personality, energy, selflessness, involvement, concern and charm. He was the center of attention and always made fun things happen! Fellow Lusk and Post mates - Chan Armstrong '62, Rusty Broshous '62, Butch Wilson '63, Curt Espisito '63, Doug Alitz '63, Fred Hinshaw '64, Harvey Frazer '64 - what a group.... All great and early memories - a special farewell to a friend forever....Rest In Peace.... |
