Be Thou At Peace

A year ago Seth and I missed link-up in Hawaii, where he and Joy were relaxing at the Hale Koa Hotel. Though fully engaged in a fierce struggle with cancer, he nonetheless told me that he and Joy were booked again for next year, same time. He made it, leaving his doctors in awe. That was Seth -- tough, determined, positive, and always looking ahead. As he rested in the Hale Koa last month, we emailed frequently as his body betrayed him. He left Hawaii on January 31st with the plan to see us all in May. He'll be there. He will always be a part of West Point. Well done, Seth. Be thou at peace. And, thanks for everything. |
