Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Fletcher Lamkin on October 13, 2013:

Jim was my roommate several times at West Point, as we shared the same Company (E-2 and F-2) for all four years. We also had the opportunity to cross paths during our service in the Army. Upbeat and enthusiastic, Jim always saw the bright side of events, no matter how taxing. The owner of many turnout stars, he was always up to the challenge and never lost faith that he would succeed. And he always did.

Loyalty, honesty, sense of duty, and love of family were traits in Jim that we all admired. Throughout his professional and personal life, he took on the toughest challenges and never shirked from his duty nor compromised his values. His vibrant personality and infectious laugh filled a room he entered with joy. He exuded a positive energy that uplifted those of us who were graced by knowing him. We have lost a great comrade in Jim, but his legacy will live in our hearts and with his family.

Rest in peace, Jim.

Well Done!
