| Just came across this. I was a SP4 with the 11th Cbt Avn Bn S1 in Phu Loi, South Vietnam in 1967. Then CPT Kelton was an Assistant S1 toward the end of my tour. Actually enjoyed working for him (which wasn't always the case with Army Officers). Sorry to hear of his passing. Always remember him dropping candy to the Vietnamese children from his bird dog, something he really enjoyed. |
