Be Thou At Peace

David, you were a great soldier and friend. Angie and I cherish the times we had with you and Jane. We especially enjoyed our battalion commands with the 1st Team at Fort Hood, where you commanded tank and infantry battalions in the same tour.


We were so grateful to have the Fishback's doing the recon at Carlisle and then finding us a place to rent when we followed you the next year. And then to be together in the 3rd Armored Division as Colonels was a special treat. We all so enjoyed seeing and having Jane come to the 30th Reunion with us. You have left behind a wonderful family and a memory of superb service to our nation. Well done classmate, be at peace. We will never forget you.
