| Jim, my last visit to your grave site was in preparation for our 20th Reunion - I was with the 197 Infantry Brigade (Mech)at Fort Benning. Now Sam Burney and I honor you with a visit in preparation of our 45th Reunion. I have just re read your entry in our 1964 Howitzer (page 345) and the other Eulogies on this your web page. All of my memories of our times together are wonderful and while you will again not be with us, I want you to know that our Prayers and thoughts are with you. Your first two entries here attest to your selfless and brave leadership and your care for your men. It is comforting to me that you are at Fort Benning, Home of the Infantry - Follow Me!
