| I spent two years in Advanced Spanish class with Jim. I don't recall specific happenings with him in class, but I do remember him being a very gifted student. As I recall, he was the assistant section marcher for all or most of those two years, sitting next to Dan Christman, who was the section marcher. Based on those two years with Jim, the single, overriding impression I formed of him is that he was a gentleman. In the decades since graduation, I've never seen or heard a single thing to change that impression. Jim was truly an honorable man, and we are the poorer for his departure. |
