| Dave and I met while serving as ARVN Ranger Battalion Advisors in Vietnam. As always, he was deliberate, confident and optimistic. We didn't see much of each other again until the recent PMEE program, 3 October, at USMA. He was still the "class guy,": low-keyed, wise, compassionate and optimistic about life ahead. He is a great soldier, spouse, father and friend. He is sorely missed by all of us; I look forward to resuming our discussions. |
